audry's old bed
audry's old bed is a father-son alt-folk duo that was based in pre-hurricane katrina new orleans. john and kyle herbert invited some friends to collaborate on their first cd "tragedy on dogpound road" which was recorded in st. bernard parish at ground floor productions. the studio, owned by mike mayeux, was destroyed by hurricane katrina, along with the masters for "tragedy". there were some mixed and mastered copies of the cd that were still around so the project was completed. john now lives in los angeles and kyle in new orleans. the mayeux family now lives in nashville.
